Less is More... More of Less of Me.

Getting Real:

They are doing an ultrasound on my Gall bladder as it is failing. Checking my heart as it has slowed too much. They still have not figured out the reason for my dizziness that is so severe that I am not even able to walk..  My Potassium level is too low 2.5 and the doctor cannot figure out why it keeps dropping so low or what is even causing it.

My Doctor told me and my husband that I will never ever be able to work again period. But yet I am still trying to do what I am able to do to help myself out.

Positivity is getting me or you nowhere. I am dying,  there is no light way to put it. My father is dying and my mother is in very ill health herself and unable to care for my father. I just wanted to spend some time with my family before I do die.

I tried being open and honest about my dire situation, but it seems to have backfired on me instead and now I am being looked upon as a fake and a scam artist. Which could not be farther from the truth.

I am about to the point of just giving up on living,  period,  just because the people around me and in my life are so shortsighted that they cannot see past their own noses to see another's suffering and pain,  and to be a stepping block instead of a stumbling block. I have been hindered enough. I just need help.

When did the world grow so selfish and uncaring about their neighbors?  Their  friends, their loved ones?

What happened to "Love your neighbor as yourself." Is that not the only command that Jesus Christ himself gave to us?  Why is it so hard for people to just love on people? Folks,  keep your eyes on Jesus as Jesus is the true form of what Love truly is. Often times it just boils down to a choice, your choice.

So who are you going to let win in this battle of mine, Satan or God?  Do you not want to be known as the warrior who helped me out when I was completely down on my luck and getting sand kicked in my eyes?

I know the answer and it is because hurting people hurt others.  I am just tired of being hurt because people are too afraid to trust. When you are too afraid to trust it is because you do not realize just how awesome your God is.

I know that God will get me there regardless of how He does it. It is just that I thought that maybe my family and friends loved me enough to want to be part of the God-sized plan to get me back home.

Please Help Me Out.....Help me get back home

Please will you please donate to my plane ticket fund to help me get back to my parents?

I have not seen my parents, nor have I spoken to them in 10 long years due to my mother's stubborn pride and unwillingness to forgive me. It was they who disowned me,  not the other way around,  Now when they need me the most I want to be there for them but I cannot be due to my Ankylosing Spondylitis and possible Cancer zapping us of all needed funds. My hubby and I only live on my hubby's SSI Benefits each month.

Please help me, please. I am not some spammer who wants to scam you all. I am a desperate wife and daughter who truly wants to help her parents in the short time she has left. In fact, just this morning I spoke with the lady from the Assisted Living place that has Memory Care because I want to try and keep my parents together. I also asked her to visit my folks to let them know that I am only trying to help from a very long distance away.....I live in Washington and my parents live in Kansas. This is utter torture for me! I want to be there for them and to show them that I do love them and always have. I also want to be able to visit my only brother who happens to be in prison.

Please help me however you are able to whether it is with a donation of $ 1.00 or a $100.00.

***UPDATE***

I now have $250.00  in my plane ticket fund thanks to my brother, which was not easy for him to send as he is in prison and gets paid so little on his job. So Bro, here's a shout out to you I love you and Miss you bunches and I really hope to see you soon {{{hugz}}}!

I would have had a loan of $5000,  but it turned out to be a scam. Boy, do I ever feel the fool.

I just really want to get back home,  please,  won't you consider even a $5.00 donation?

For $5.00 I will make and print out some pretty Stationery and my Daily Schedule.

For $10.00,  a lacy bookmark. You choose the color,  I choose the style :o)

For $25.00. I will throw in a hand crocheted Cross with a brightly painted wooden frame

For $35.00 I will make a scarf of your choosing. I will show the patterns to choose from in a blog post.

For $50.00 I will make an heirloom Beaded Christmas Ornament.

For $100.00 I will make an Heirloom Bedspread.

Gentle Whispers of Love is Born... But First an Urgent Request.....

 Folks,

I have officially opened my Store, but it will be exactly one month and a half before I am able to add any of my items to the storefront due to personal reasons for which I am imploring your help....

I just received a call from my brother today letting me know that my Father is not doing well at all. It is because he has Alzheimer's. He has gotten really bad. I really want to fly back for a month  to spend time with my parents and my brother. I also want to mend broken fences with my mother.

But this presents a huge problem.... I am flat broke, someone has a lien on my van and my health has tapped us for every penny that we are worth so I am imploring of my followers, friends, family to donate to my plane ticket fund....The total I need is $ 500.00 I can get the one month package for less but I want to buy myself something before I have to say goodbye to my parents for the rest of my life as my health is just as bad as theirs is.

I want to purchase my ticket for April 1, 2014 -May 4, 2014 I want to get there before my Dad's birthday.

Will you please help me out? I would be forever grateful.

Computer Died.......Trying Earnestly to bounce back

Well, this was an unexpected problem.... Both my power supply and hard drive bit the computer dust and both have gone to computer heaven..... I do believe though that my dear sweet hubby Ben has ordered the parts I need as surprise early Christmas gifts. Bless his dear little heart! Oy Vay! Well I just wanted to quickly let everyone know this and the fact that I have finally received my diagnosis. I have a disease that most people cannot even pronounce "Ankylosing Spondylitis" and more people than not do not even know what it even is. So let me give you the quick version:
About Ankylosing Spondylitis
If you love me as you say you do, then please use this link to look up all the information and even read the patient stories as that is the real truth about this disease. Unfortunately, I do not have the money for the membership fee. Joining this Association would be a tremendous benefit to me as I do care for a developmentally disabled husband.

I have also learned that I have a bone tumor (Enchondroma) in my left hip. They think I have had it since I was a child but I am not thinking so because this is a very new pain that started shortly after my Thyroid problems started. They have said that if it is found in an adult that it can grow to become Bone Cancer. We are praying desperately that it does not become cancer.  So to be honest I am really frightened.

I am going to get a too real for a moment: We are so poverty stricken that I am sleeping on a couple of worn out foam pads on the floor and my hubby is on an air mattress on top of our broken bed. This is so troubling to my dear hubby because he knows enough to know it is his job to provide for us and he cannot due to his disabilities. My body is in severe pain but that pain does not compare to the pain in my heart and my soul when considering my poor hubby's dilemma.

While I am pleased that people do have warm comfortable furniture during this Christmas Season and warm, safe houses, I would like to encourage those who do have more than enough to please help those who are less fortunate than you. Because, Folks, Loving your neighbor as yourself really needs improving upon in our society today. We have folks right here in (Anytown, USA) that are doing without every day basic necessities because like myself they are too ill to work and the state will not help out enough. As I am saying this I am going without most of my medications as we just do not have the money to buy them and most of them are not available through Patient Assistance Programs.
Dear sweet Ruthi, We so love you so much because even though you have the least money in the family you have helped us the most. The others in our large family could learn a most needed lesson from you and we pray that they do. Thank you for showing us both that you truly do treasure our lives enough to be what we need you to be when we need you to be it.You have shown to us that life is more precious than things and vacations.That the human life is a very precious gift and should not be wasted. That it should be spent showing God's love to those who are with, for us, and around us. You have given out of your need and not out of your excess and God will truly bless you for it all. Thank You Dear Sis {{{hugz}}}

All this to say this, Family should be willing to aid the members of their families who are not doing well no matter how much it costs because that is what being a family means. You all stick together through the thick and thin of life. The Good, Bad and the Ugly. That is what being a family means. You love, treasure, support, comfort, and aid those you say you love. Because Folks that is what God's True Love is all about. If you are not doing this then God's Love does not reside within your heart. Because if you can help complete strangers but not your own flesh and blood (this includes through marriage), then God's Word states that all your giving amounts to nothing in His eyes. Because  true Charity begins at home in the family unit.

Sorry For the Lack of My Presence Online Lately

I want to apologize to those who do follow me for my lack of presence lately. I have really been in a lot of physical pain.

I have also received the worst medical report from my doctor and well,  to be completely honest, I have been grieving the loss of my life as others continue to move forward as though my life does not or has never existed. But even though I feel this way, I want to respond as God would have me to respond..

While it is true that I have not had any encouragement for most of my life in any area of my life, I realize that humans can never be what I need them to be because we live in a Fallen World still ruled by the enemy. So I will be my own Encourager.

But I can come right out and ask for what we need, and then trust all the consequences to God.

1. I need handwritten encouragement in the form of cards as I am trying to build myself an Encouragement file.

2. I need those who are able in our lives to come forward and to meet the needs we have that they are able to meet.
          1. A Comfortable bed. Maybe you cannot do this for us but you may know someone who can. So just getting the word out would help us.
          2. Encouragement for my husband and myself as we are, in reality, facing this alone with the Exception of God being for us. A Daily visit or an email would be really nice.
          3. A minivan as ours is no longer truly reliable to get us from point A to point B. This is where we have had to trust God for our safety. I need reliable transportation to get me to my doctor's appointments.
          4. Prayer for numerous Breakthroughs in our lives. Finances, Medical Insurance for myself, For our Marriage to be strengthened, For My Healing, For God to place people in our lives who will truly be there for us and who are truly for us and not just with us, For my Major Depression and PTSD,

These just to name a few of our most urgent needs.

I know that God has a good plan for my future!
Regardless of how dark and dank it feels right now.

Until Next Time,
Karen

New Addition to the Family

Right Now I am the worlds most proudest 1st GREAT Aunt in the world!!!
Welcome to the family little champion, Baxter {{{hugz}}} I think I shall call you li'l Babu ;o)

Tiffy I hear you were a trooper, I am so very proud of you and of you as her supporter Brendan. Love to you both.

I cannot wait til I can be able to hold this priceless little treasure that God has so richly blessed you with. I pray that it is soon. This has been pure torture for me not to be able to see him in real life yet. You may not understand the hurt I am feeling as you may not understand the importance of a precious baby to me...so forgive me if I seem pushy or withdrawn at times. I truly cannot help it. The pain in my heart from losing my own babies is just too deep and I will never get the chance to have another myself. Life is stacked against me in so many ways that I cannot control....so please let me have a little pleasure even if for just a little while.

Again, Congratulations on your precious little bundle of joy!

Early Birthday Celebration with Family

I just had a most wonderful time celebrating my 40th birthday with most of my family!
I received a beautiful teal blue tie-at-the-waist sweater from the Matron of the family. My Sister-in-Laws surprised me with a $50 "Girls Day Out" coming up in June. My Niece and Nephew-in-law gave me some wonderful fat quarters and three postcards from Hawaii.

It was so wonderful!

Then this evening I took a very short romantic walk with my hubby. That was the highlight of my day! I fell in love with him all over again. It was so lovely to gaze at the foothills, to see the lights reflecting on a pond and to see Pepper, our dog, jumping through the field of high grass. The frogs croaking to each other, It is so romantic the way they answer each others call. The crickets were chirping along. A very sweet birdie sung a happy birthday song to me. It was truly a beautiful moment and the perfect way to end my day.

With that, I bid you all a Good Night and happy crafting until next we meet :o).

Much Love,

Karen

My Vow Renewal Plans

Hey there Everyone,

I have pretties to show you today!
Lace, trim, ballet slippers, and the pattern for my Vow Renewal dress I am hand making.

This is the pattern I plan on using with some tweakage.

This is the fabric for the skirt and maybe the upper sleeves. But I have not completely decided on that .

These are the hand made English Ladies Style of leather Ballerina slippers I plan on embroidering with beads and adding ribbons to. But the ribbons will be tied as they really should be tied which is only around the ankle with the knot discretely hidden on the inside of the ankle. I will not tie them up my leg as that is not safe to do and can actually lead to injuries.  I will be getting them from  Just Plain Flats. Check Bob out he does awesome work!

This will be the trim i will be using.

This is the imported lace I am using for the inside of the lower sleeves.

This is the hand beaded appliqué that I will hand sew to the bodice.

A matching Victorian necklace and earring set I have my eye on, I sure hope I win it!

Cannot see it too well, but this is the hairstyle I am aiming for if my hair will cooperate :o).

This is the cake I am aiming to imitate with a dairy-free cake recipe using a candy clay to cover it with. I know it won't be completely dairy-free as i will be using white chocolate for the clay. I will have to make a trial run of it first.

This is the invitation I designed myself. I am planning on printing it out on a soft blue paper with a tracing paper insert with a small blue bow on the inside.
